1) finish Hero's Dilemma.
There is no reason it should take me a year to finish the last bit of a chapter I started a long time ago.
I need to finish it this year.

2) improve drawing skills.
I'm currently working on a simpler drawing method, and I'm trying to figure out if I should continue Outcast Kingdom, or start making a comics version of Hero's Dilemma (including some scenes and continued stories not in the written story)

3) get Outcast Kingdom on track.
Well that went quite exactly as I had expected. But I may be able to continue it (see No. 2)

4) 1 new short story every month.
This, too, went as expected.

5) get a job.
I did get a job, so there's one decisive success.

6) feel accomplished.
No, not really.

7) kickstart something
Not yet, but I've made progress.

8) (insert obligatory improve health resolution here)
Things are going pretty well in this field as well.

So the final score is 2/8. That sounds bad, but I don't think resolutions should be about numbers, but progress. In fact, I think I've gotten more out of some of the failed resolutions than some of the successes.

But I have hope for 2017. I think good things will happen this year.

it was a pretty quiet year for my artsy friends  I "had to resort to"commenting mostly on photos of pretty trees in 2016 due to how quiet the people I watch were in 2016 >> but I am happy for all of the successes you experienced. :aww:
I hope that you can share more OK and Hero's Dilemma though :o original stories like that improve my life.
