1) finish Hero's Dilemma.
Well, I have started uploading the final chapter, but it's not quite done yet. But it's coming along.

2) improve drawing skills.
I think my art has been improving, yeah? If nothing else, I am finding myself more satisfied with what I have been drawing lately.
I've been doing quite a bit of character art recently (Hero's Dilemma, mostly), and that's always nice. (In fact, I'm currently drawing a group picture of Paragon's former team, The Super Seven. They've only been mentioned once so far, and only briefly, but now that I'm drawing them, I'm really diggin this team you guys! I'll have to write about them too, one of these days.)

3) get Outcast Kingdom on track.
Sadly, I'm not sure I'll ever really get OK back on track. I'm just not any good at the comics format. Something about it just doesn't go well with how I draw. Hopefully I'll be able to tell the story in some way some day, but I don't know how or when.

4) 1 new short story every month.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh! Well, I got one, and I'm still trying (on occasion) to finish what I started with #2. But mostly I'm trying to finish HD.

5) get a job.
I seem to have forgotten to check in on resolutions 5 through 8 last time, so I'll mention them now. Starting with the fact that I got a job!!! I landed a janitorial position in an office building. I know it doesn't sound like a very glamorous occupation, but for a number of reasons, it's actually kind of an ideal job for me. Mostly since, as it is entirely physical work, my mind is free to develop ideas, work on stories, etc.

6) feel accomplished.
A bit of a hit-and-miss with this one. I feel like I'm making progress in some areas, but in others I feel... down. I better not dwell. Think positive.

7) kickstart something
I've been working on a tabletop role playing game that is almost playable. If it goes well, I'd like to run a kickstarter for it. I have some big plans that I think could work. We'll see.

8) (insert obligatory improve health resolution here)
I haven't been working out, per se, but I have been eating pretty well. And my job has me on my feet almost the whole day, so that's good. I've been avoiding excessive bad stuff (a little bit now and then is okay) and eating more of the good stuff. I've been buying food from a organic/natural/local/hippie/etc grocery when possible. And it's actually not so expensive if you shop smart. I'm no health nut, but even small changes matter. And I feel healthier, too. In fact, physically speaking, I feel pretty good.

Over all, 2016 has been... okay. There's still a lot that I wish was not how it is, but I'm gonna focus on the small victories. I'm gonna think positive and not get bogged down by what I haven't fixed yet. Naive optimism, don't fail me now!

and as always, Don't Forget To Be Awesome! \(^▽^)/

I wanna know about the Super Seven :o

congratulations on the job. my younger sister does that sort of work for a doctor's office. It sounds awesome - honestly I was hoping to do that sort of work before I got hired to do retail work last year. It sounds a heck of a lot more relaxing and fulfilling than folding shirts. Possibly even more glamorous than folding shirts!

oh no, you're a hippie now! ...better grow your hair out xD and take lots of pictures!
