To See You Clearly

I often draw inspiration from listening to music, even if what I see and feel has nothing to do with the song. Shown here is a passable (at best) attempt at what I imagined when listening to the song "Veronica Sawyer Smokes". Probably not what the band had in mind, but I like my inspirations the way they are.

(Honestly, Nox's version has a lot more to do with the song itself than mine does.)

The core element to the song, at least the way I interpret it, is that it's from the perspective of a guy talking about this girl who is somehow very special or unusual.
Building onto that, there's something mysterious about her, a little dark, and perhaps even supernatural. I couldn't make up my mind if she was a magician or a ghost. So I kind of went with something ambiguous that could be either one. (Playing cards and smoke & mirrors suggest stage magic, while floating around and coming out of a solid mirror imply something spiritual.)

As I did with the song, feel free to interpret this picture as you will.
